5/24 Menu Glimpse: Pescetarian Edition

This Supper Club is suitable for fish-eating vegetarians, or pescetarians. Fresh fish and all of its wonders will be feted in this evening’s Supper Club. All the other courses will be created using a stock made from fish and/or vegetables. The handcrafted cocktails served as the aperitif, shall be available also in a non-alcoholic form, per request. Relish the delights of those fish that swim in our surrounding rivers and lakes.

This Supper Club epitomizes the joy of chicken. Poulet in French, we will sample and savor all the delights of the chicken, from breast to liver. Eggs will be also be featured in some of the courses.

Menu Glimpse

The inaugural Supper Club is inspired by its occurrence on Cinco de Mayo. In 1862 when Mexican forces successfully defeated the French in the Battle of Puebla, there was a clash of cuisines as well as armor. During this meal, experience traditional Mexican flavors interacting and engaging with classical French notes.

Coming soon to Bridgeport!

Join our community-supported Supper Club this May as part of Version 12. Sited in the Victorian dining room of Benton House, we are continuing the long tradition of underground eating and drinking establishments in Bridgeport.

On the evening of each supper, ring the doorbell at Benton House to become part of an exclusive dinner group of twelve people. Chef Pablo Jones and host Deirdre Colgan will reinvent the space as a modern speakeasy for this series of suppers during the month of May.

Enjoy an artfully crafted meal made with locally sourced produce and meats from Bridgeport and the surrounding area. The five-course meal will be complemented with libations from local breweries and wine shops. All proceeds will support this pop-up enterprise in Bridgeport and provide you with a great dinner and evening’s entertainment.
